For those who are diligent in their works, the Bible say will sit with kings and princes. True to this biblical injunction, this is what has become the lot of SP Opalola Yemisi Olawoyin (JP), the Police Public Relations Officer and Image Maker of the Osun State Police Command. In just a space of two days, this erudite Police Image Maker received two notable laurels and accolade announcing her hardworking, excellent service and innovative approach to her work.

SP Opalola Yemisi was on Thursday the 17th of December 2020 awarded the Most Outstanding Police Image Maker of the Year by the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP) during her annual event tagged: NAOSNP Dinner and Awards 2020 held at NERDC Conference center, Alausa-Ikeja in Lagos.

ASP Chinwe received the award on behalf of SP Opalola from Barrister Monday Ubani, former Second Vice President, Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) supported by NAOSNP President, Oki Samson.

Just a day later, on Friday 18th December, this exceptional and gallant officer was inducted into the exclusive and most converted fold of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations NIPR after her graduation course during the just concluded Police PROs’ Conference at Enugu.

Supol Yemisi Opalola can be described as a woman who epitomizes beauty, brawns and uncommon intelligence all virtues that have served her well and put her in good stead for success in her chosen career as a police officer and public relations expert.  This exemplary Police Officer is a native of  Ogbomosho in Ogbomosho South Local Government Area of Oyo State.

She obtained B.Sc in Agricultural Science Education from the Lagos State University and M.Sc in Peace & Conflicts Studies, University of Ibadan.

She enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force on 1st of April, 1999 and has served in various capacities as Head of Police Departments and Formations, Human Rights Desk Officer, SIB Operative, Administrative Officer, and Divisional Crime Officer. She has also served in international peacekeeping missions; Haiti and Somalia among others before her new appointment as the PPRO of Osun State Police Command.

She is happily married with children.
