Delta State Police Command has assured the general public of adequate security just as it has deployed 4,306 Police personnel to provide security in all the nooks and cranies of the state as the citizens celebrate Nigeria’s 49th Independence.
In a release issued by the State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, the State Commissioner of Police, Adeyinka Adeleke has deployed four thousand, three hundred and six (4,306) Police personel from the conventional, tactical teams, intelligence squads, Police Mobile Force, safer highways, Eagle-Net squad, Special Anti-Kidnapping and Cyber Crime Squad (SAKCCS), Special Anti-Cult Unit (SACU) and various anti crime patrol teams to all identified flash points, black spots and all vulnerable points within the state.
He has also assures all Deltans of his commitment to their safety and security at all times, while wishing them a happy Independence Day celebration
