A mild drama ensued Monday when a Commissioner nominee in Ogun State, Hon. Afolabi Afuape told Governor Dapo Abiodun not to consider appointing him as Commissioner for  Transportation in the state.
Afuape who appeared before the Ogun State House of Assembly Screening Committee on Monday said that, he would rather not get any appointment than being a Commissioner for Transport in the state.
He said his name had been maligned following his position as member of Transport Committee set up by Governor Dapo Abiodun, adding that he cannot afford to be drag to the mud again.
He further explained that, his committee on motorcycle had increased the monthly IGR from N22.5million to N30million in the state.
According to him, “My name has been dragged to the mud because of my position as a  member of the Transport committee set up by the governor.
“But I don’t want the ministry of transportation because my name had been bastardised. I better don’t have appointment than to drag my name in the mud again”, a visibly angry Afuape averred.
