The family of late Registrar of National Examinations Council (NECO), Prof Godswill Obioma have debunked reports that he was murdered.
The media(this medium inclusive), had earlier reported that the late Registrar, was strangled to death in his home in Minna, Niger State.
But his son, Prince Obioma in a letter he sent to the Director of Human Resource Management, of NECO, Mustapha K. Abdul, said his father Prof Obioma died after a brief illness.
Prince Obioma in the letter, asked the Director of human resources, to notify the board, management and the entire staff of the Council of the development.

“Dear Sir, this is to formally inform you that my father, Prof. Godswill Obioma, the Registrar/Chief Executive of NECO passed to eternal glory yesterday 31/5/2021 after a brief illness.
“We request that you kindly notify the Board, Management and the entire staff of the Council of this development. We shall keep you duly informed”.
